Workshops

Executive Coaching is focused on individual development needs since leadership positions require a wide range of skills and applications of cognitive complexity.

The coaching process is designed to:

  1. Provide the executive a clear understanding of his/her leadership style, focused on strengths, limitations, and development needs
  2. Clarify the organization’s expectations of the executive in current role
  3. Focus development on increased effectiveness

This workshop will help participants understand the compliance guidelines around sexual harassment as well as review the appropriate and inappropriate behaviors in the work environment.  In addition, there will be breakouts to discuss specific situations and time to work through questions and concerns participants may have, given the changing work environment.

This workshop introduces a 6-step process for conflict resolution as it reinforces active listening to deal with interpersonal conflict. If managed positively, conflict can be a strategic advantage for the organization leading to growth and profitability.

The Emotional and Social Competency Inventory is a 360 coaching and development instrument developed by Hay Group, Daniel Goleman, and Richard Boyatzis. It assesses the participant’s demonstration of 12 key competencies associated with emotional and social intelligence, which have been shown through research to contribute to effective performance at work.

The participant will complete an on-line assessment and receive feedback from their raters regarding how frequently they demonstrate the behaviors. The feedback allows them to focus on development opportunities through coaching and a personal development plan.

Emotional Intelligence affects how we manage our behavior, navigate social complexities, and make personal decisions. In this workshop, participants will examine the Emotional Intelligence aspects of personal and social competence and their respective skills.

The four domains of Emotional Intelligence are Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, and Relationship Management. Within the domains are 12 competencies, learned and learnable capabilities, that allow outstanding performance at work or as a leader. Practicing the skills and behaviors of each component can develop high emotional intelligence.

This workshop identifies the strengths of the team and focuses on the strengths of the individual team members. Participants will learn the attributes of a highly functioning team, complete a “Team Assessment,” and learn how to successfully leverage the team’s strengths and weaknesses.
